Being from the Bayfield, WI peninsula and having my own store there for many years, I thought I had seen the best of the best, from pottery to music to stained glass. I had the pleasure to meet Renata approximately one year ago in June of 2009. Although the pottery and music is some of the best in the area, we met a master from Southern Wisconsin in stained glass. In fact, world class. What impressed me even more, however, is not just her detailed, artistic talent to her creations, but her work ethic, which is second to none. No one I’ve ever met in any artistic field after dropping their paint brush or pen and ink would then hop on a roof and tear off shingles until the sun goes down. (And that's on top of raising many kids through the years.) As amazing a person that she is in all she does, her stained glass stands right up there with many churches I've seen from the 6th century in the South of France. Her works move you in a way you want them to. I've smiled, cried and had goose bumps looking at her work. She is the go-to person if you want anything done in stained glass...or your roof torn off!

Renata Faith Brandenburg is a naturally talented artist who has been creating stained glass art in the greater Milwaukee and Lake Country areas for twenty-seven years. Most recently she has also been designing projects in the resort area of Hayward, Wisconsin. Each of her works is unique and designed for a specific application whether it be done in crystal clear beveled glass or colorful stained glass.
Working with her client, she will take an idea and reinterpret and expand upon it. Then using the copper foil method with glass and light will transform it into a work of art. The glass speaks to Renata in a language all of its own.
